You know what, normally I wouldn’t. Normally I’d butt my ass outta the fandom stuff goin’ about, but I have t’say somethin’. This is too much. Honestly, someone’s going to go so far as to judge Aoi about how he views sexuality? I don’t know if you like Gaze or not, but that’s just dumb. If you’re a fan, why judge the guy who’s created music for you, the fans, for… eh, what is it, 10 years now? If you’re not, why start shit on sexuality? 

Mayyyybeeeee homosexuality is, in the mainstream, extremely frowned upon in Japan. Maaaayyyybeeeeeeeee LGBT equality is much more difficult to come by because Japan, as a society, is having a difficult time making the leap to accept the sorts of things that they accept elsewhere.

Regardless of who you are judgin’ this man for his views on sexuality, maybe he’s not comfortable seeing who he’s bein’ shipped with. Not everyone’s like Gackt and Yasu. Not everyone’s comfortable with it. Maybe he doesn’t wanna see himself paired with a girl either.

To add something.. Aoi never stated that he is against homosexuality or things like that. He just says that he is uncomfortable with being shipped with other members. And.. I am absolutely pro homosexuality, I really, really hope that the people can get married etc. BUT I would feel uncomfortable if someone who I even don’t know would ship me with my female friends. Just because he isn’t homosexual and is uncomfortable with being shipped doesn’t mean that he is against homosexuality.

Really, I didn’t see it as homophobic, considering the word he used had different meanings.  At most, I took it that he is uncomfortable receiving unwanted attention from other males.  This is perfectly okay.  He never stated that he is against males giving other males attention.  He just doesn’t want it directed at him.

There is a huge difference between being uncomfortable with attention from the same gender, and then being repulsed and against the rights of other people.

ALSO it is perfectly fine for him to be grossed out by people shipping him with his band members, if that is what he is referring too.  Aoi probably sees Ruki, Uruha, Reita, and Kai like BROTHERS.  Aoi doesn’t want to be shipped with his family, okay?  See it that way.
